A few days ago, information about the earthquake in Myanmar was at the top of the international headlines. Now you can hardly read or hear anything about the consequences of this terrible natural disaster. How do the people in the earthquake region cope with the aftermaths of it? How can they be helped? Min from Myanmar is a student at Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences. On Tuesday, April 22nd, he and other fellow students will speak about the small country, which is mainly inhabited by Buddhists, at an meet and talk evening in the student community (Neustädter Str. 6) from 19:00. Snacks, typical to the country, will be provided. The lecture will be held in English, translations into German are possible. You are cordially invited.

Vor einigen Tagen waren die Informationen über das Erdeben in Myanmar noch ganz oben in den Schlagzeilen. Jetzt liest und hört man kaum noch was über die Folgen dieser schlimmen Naturkatastrophe. Wie geht es den Menschen in der Erdbebenregion? Wie kann ihnen geholfen werden? Min aus Myanmar ist Student der Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal. Er wird mkt weiteren Kommilitonen am Dienstag, den 22.4., in der Studierendengemeinde (Neustädter Str. 6) ab 19:00 zu einem Informations- und Begegnungsabend über das kleine mehrheitlich von Buddhisten bewohnte Land berichten. Auch für ein landestypischen Imbiss ist gesorgt. Der Vortrag wird auf Englisch gehalten, Übersetzungen auf Deutsch sind möglich. Herzliche Einladung!
